X (Twitter) wanted to create conversation around the Gaming Tweet awards and develop creative that resonates with the @TwitterGaming community.

 

We developed a surprise and delight campaign for 5 Twitter users to fly to the Game Awards in L.A to see if their Tweet won the category "Best Gaming Tweet of the Year". Partnered with Mike Diva to develop a look for each tweet that used IP of each mentioned and animated the conversation around each tweet. 

The video dropped from @TwitterGaming and was livestreamed on Twitch by 45 million. Mike Diva proved to be the right partner as reported sentiment from users after the campaign was positive.

We shortened the video to a :15 to announce the winner live.

YTSunny also received a special announcement with creative that synced across all 7 billboards at the event.

The event activation brought the cool factor featuring a levitating trophy with each nominees Tweet art. We even designed and curated 3 swag boxes to make sure our gamers were happy at every part of the event experience.

Each of the nominees tweet conversations were brought to life and animated an overstimulated collage style using IP from each game, truly amplifying the gaming conversation in our own unique way.
